Artist for Action - LIVE SCREENING OF "A FATHER'S PROMISE"

Please join us on March 29th for the private screening of A Father’s Promise a powerfully inspiring film directed by Rick Korn and executive produced by Sheryl Crow. The film follows the journey of professional musician Mark Barden who loses all joy in music and becomes a powerful voice for change after his son Daniel is murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary school. Mark rewires himself and co-founds Sandy Hook Promise which is saving thousands of lives with their programs. Mark’s fines his way back to music with the help of Sheryl Crow, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, Bernie Williams, Karen Fairchild, Darryl "DMC" McDaniel's, Jimmy Vivino and the Promise Band. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Mark Barden and Rick Korn and a concert with Mark Barden, Jimmy Vivino, Freddie Ravel and Natalie Barden at Dreamland on PCH in Malibu. The evening supports Artist for Action to Prevent Gun Violence, Sandy Hook Promise, Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center and Armory of Harmony.

Artist for Action is a non-political movement and coalition of music artists, athletes, actors, and influencers who have joined together to take urgent action to help prevent gun violence. AFA supports and elevates both grassroots and large gun violence prevention organizations.
